Macro photography course
This macro wildlife photography course will open up a new world for photographers. Single stems of grass become towering structures, and seemingly tiny creatures are seen in an entirely new light. I have specialised in macro wildlife photography for several years now and it never fails to produce something new and exciting whether I’m deep in the Amazon rainforest or in my back yard in Norfolk; interesting subjects are never far away! Set on a large country estate, and with access to a beautiful nature reserve, the day will be divided between indoor classroom learning, indoor studio work (photographing a selection of amazing praying mantises from around the world) and outdoor practical sessions (searching for bug life around the reserve). We will cover how to capture the best macro photography images, how to overcome the difficulties surrounding macro photography, and will also cover more advanced techniques such as image stacking. Basic working knowledge of photography is required and I recommend that beginners first take the Introduction to wildlife photography course first.
This course can be taken either in a group or as a 1:1 session.
